Quite a number of the recent scenes at Sean Cody have been released even though the studio knew they were substandard, which is a shame, because the studio has built a solid reputation for normally producing quality gay porn viewers have come to admire. It appears the problem has been exasperated because it appears several scenes were filmed, but the footage wasn’t reviewed immediately, so the technical issue was not picked up quick enough. Due to the production costs involved, the studio made the decision to go ahead and release the scenes, which is receiving a mixed reception. The studio says the technical issue is the result of the introducing 4K cameras to improve the quality, but it looks like they didn’t have the settings right, which contributed to the technical problems they are now facing. Apparently this issue has now been resolved and hopefully most of the poor quality videos have been released now, but we’ll have to wait and see. This is a sizzling update featuring Landon barebacking Jayden. Jayden won the sprint race, but he chose to bottom and it seems the arrangement works out well for both of the guys, so it’s a win-win situation. When everyone involved can enjoy the outcome, it makes things better for everyone. Enjoy the preview of this hot scene and make sure you check out more of the action by subscribing to SeanCody.com!

I appreciate the heads-up about recent technical problems at SC. Can you elaborate? What’s the nature of the technical problem and about how many scenes are affected? I’m due to re-up my account to download the material from the recent 14 months (gotta get me some Nixon!) Will I be disappointed? The preview trailers on their home page look as good as ever (but of course they wouldn’t put poor quality work in the sample selection).

The technical problems at Sean Cody are very disappointing. It’s totally understandable that with new technology there can be teething problems, but they’ve had some major issues unfortunately. The problem stemmed from the studio upgrading to 4K cameras. The technology is great when used correctly, but it seems as though they didn’t have some of the settings right. There are about fifteen or so scenes that have been affected by blurry vision, washed out colors and choppy footage just to mention some of the technical issues. The studio even started putting a disclaimer on the affected videos, blaming “faulty equipment”, which it might have been, but it appears to be more a problem with their camera settings rather than the equipment being faulty. Because the technology they were using was different, they probably didn’t research the settings enough, which has affected the output. In addition to this, the situation has been amplified due to the fact that they filmed quite a few scenes before the issue was picked up in post-production. It was almost as though they didn’t complete at least one test scene to see how it turned out before they proceeded to film more. There also appears to be an issue with some of the editing, so something appears to be going on behind the scenes and not in a good way. I do think you will be disappointed by the affected scenes, but it looks like we might be started to move beyond these tarnished scenes now (fingers crossed). I have avoided featuring the scenes that are affected, which is why you probably haven’t noticed the issue, because I’m very fussy about what I showcase here, but I felt it was still appropriate to mention it.
