On The Hunt is a gay porn site that is not known for bareback porn. Most of the scenes feature either solo action or when action is involved, there’s usually a condom to be found. Recently a bareback scene was released at On The Hunt and I was excited about it, but I thought it may have just been a one-off video they added to the site. I became even more excited when I saw a second bareback video added to On The Hunt, so I’m now wondering if On The Hunt is in the process of adding a selection of bareback porn to their site. On The Hunt features an impressive amount of porn featuring videos that are only edited where necessary to give them a feeling of reality. In the scene I am about to introduce you to, you get to see Myles bring his straight friend along to appear in a porn video together and what makes this video interesting, is that it was filmed by Cole and Hunter from Maverick Men for the guys at On The Hunt. You may have seen Myles before in his appearances at FraternityX. I am excited by what I am seeing here and fingers crossed that more bareback porn will make its way to On The Hunt. I will definitely keep you informed, so stay tuned.

even the sneak peak looks promising. the site may be one to give further thought about if in fact they will be posting bb videos on a regular enough basis. also i hope any further bb videos on On The Hunt will stick with college frat boy models types like Myles and his straight friend.

a question-many pay gay websites have been adamantly anti-bareback for years. in addition many pay gay websites that have featured bb videos (Jake Cruise , Drake Rock)have recently posted notice that they’re ceasing the production of bb videos. on the other hand some websites that started out with condom only videos(ACM , Sean Cody) have started posting as many bb as condomed videos. in fact one such website Fraternity X has gone all bb. what are your thoughts on this rather interesting turn of events?

Hey Joseph,

The sneak peek sure looks hot and I’ll be introducing the second On The Hunt bareback scene here soon and perhaps by then there will be additional bareback scenes to showcase here. I will definitely be following the bareback releases closely and I will continue to publish updates and share any bareback news, so stay tuned for that.

That’s an interesting question about why some of the studios have ceased bareback production while others have commenced producing bareback porn. Bareback porn is very popular and quality bareback porn is sought after by viewers of gay porn. While this is the case, there are some gay porn viewers who disapprove of bareback porn for various reasons. I think that some of the studios are trying to produce the hottest bareback porn they possibly can and they consider barebacking to be one of the ways to make this possible.

An issue with producing bareback porn is the increased costs involved with sexually transmitted infection testing, along with the time involved with scheduling performers for appointments and their availability. I cannot speak personally for each studio, as they will likely have their own reasons for why they have decided to cease or commence production of bareback porn, but I’m thinking one reason that may impact on a studio producing bareback porn is the cost and time involved with regular sexually transmitted infection testing procedures. Some studios may prefer to avoid testing and simply use condoms instead. I would like to point out that some studios that require condoms also test for sexually transmitted infections as well.

Another issue could be that studios are concerned that the bareback porn they produce may influence decisions by the viewers of their porn, so this could be why a studio may decide to cease production. An example is Active Duty, where they ceased producing bareback porn a number of years ago, but they have since filmed the occasional bareback scene. On the flip side, some performers are more comfortable filming bareback, particularly if the performers are real-life couples or are friends who are comfortable forgoing the use of condoms and the studio is comfortable with this arrangement.

I guess there is the issue of consumer demand where guys want to watch bareback porn and studios will work hard to produce quality bareback porn as safely as they can through regular sexually transmitted infection testing and sero-sorting procedures. Because this topic is broad and due to each studio implementing their own procedures, I can only speak generally on this subject, but hopefully I have explored a number of considerations. I welcome input from anyone who wishes to contribute on this topic. It’s definitely an interesting question, Joseph and I appreciate you asking it.
