Bug Parties, Conversion Parties and HIV Parties

Some HIV-negative men who have made the decision to get the “bug” or the “gift” are so sure that they want to “convert” and become HIV-positive that they aim to have unprotected sex with as many HIV-positive men as possible to achieve their goal. To help make this possible, bug chasers may choose to attend parties along with gift givers to help them sero-convert. These parties are referred to as “conversion parties” or “bug parties”, because the party participants attend with the intention of sero-converting men from having an HIV-negative status to an HIV-positive status.

The terms “bug” and “gift” both refer to HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus). Bug chasers are seeking HIV and gift givers are offering HIV. For men who want to become HIV-positive or help other men become HIV-positive, parties are an ideal way to spread the virus among others. The act of sero-converting is enhanced through bug parties or conversion parties, because the guests attending the parties are there for a specific purpose and the outcome is life-changing. The act of sero-conversion is the sole intention of these parties, rather than sero-conversion taking place unintentionally through barebacking.

The men who attend bug parties or conversion parties have usually made up their mind about participating in the sero-conversion party and guests play different roles. There are also a couple of different party variations and these parties can determine how effective the transmission of HIV is. It’s very important for anyone attending conversion parties to understand the risks and the potential outcome of the parties, because once sero-conversion takes place, there is no going back. This article is not designed to promote bug parties or conversion parties, the purpose of this article is to provide awareness of these parties, because they already exist.

There is a significant difference between bareback parties and bug parties or conversion parties. Bareback parties are designed so that guests can have unprotected sex with other guests without the use of condoms, but there is no specific intention of attending bareback parties for the purpose of sero-conversion, although this may be the result for HIV-negative men if they have unprotected sex with HIV-positive men. Even though this can happen, the difference is that bug parties or conversion parties involve barebacking for the specific purpose of exchanging sexually transmitted infections, particularly HIV.

Bug parties or conversion parties can be popular for both bug chasers and gift givers. Bug chasers may attend these parties with the hope of becoming HIV-positive as a result and gift givers may enjoy attending these parties because they have what is required to give the bug chasers what they want. This may make gift givers feel special knowing that they have the ability to change someone’s life forever, because there is no current cure for HIV. The type of conversion party can differ and the results can also have a different potency depending on the type of party.

Party Type 1: Gang Bang
One member at the party is usually HIV-negative (the bug chaser) and all or most of the other guests are HIV-positive (the gift givers). The gift givers take turns barebacking the bug chaser one by one and usually ejaculating their “charged” loads of cum inside the bug chaser’s ass to increase his chances of becoming HIV-positive. One by one each gift giver adds his HIV infected semen to the mix, which can include different strains of the virus. Because each gift giver is barebacking the bug chaser, the level of friction resulting from the skin-on-skin contact can easily cause a breakage to the skin, resulting in a higher chance of HIV entering the bug chasers’ bloodstream. With this party variation, the bug chaser knows that he has a very good chance of becoming HIV-positive, because he is aware that each man barebacking him is likely to be HIV-positive.

Party Type 2: Russian Roulette
Some of the guests at this type of party are HIV-positive (the gift givers) and some are HIV-negative (the bug chasers). At some parties a number of men may already know the HIV status of other guests, but the intention is that the HIV status of each guest is unknown and the participants take a risk each time they have unprotected sex with another guest. The bug chasers and gift givers mix together and bareback each other in an orgy, with guests trying to have unprotected sex with as many other guests as possible. At the end of the party, the HIV-positive guests may wish to identify themselves so the HIV-negative guests can find out whether they have been exposed to someone who is HIV-positive. If a bug chaser finds out that he has not had unprotected sex with a man who is HIV-positive, they may make themselves available to an HIV-positive guest before they leave to increase their exposure and likelihood of becoming HIV-positive.

Bug parties and conversion parties are designed to be risky and the level of risk can depend upon the type of party and various other factors with each participant, such as viral load and the strength of each individuals immune system. You can see how quickly HIV can be spread through these parties, as guests are basically shared around the room, where they swap any infections they have with each other. If a bug chaser does not succeed the first time, he may continue to attend bug parties or conversion parties until he has successfully sero-converted.

IMPORTANT: The webmaster does not encourage individuals to become bug chasers or gift givers. This article has been written to highlight some of the issues which are already happening in society and to provide an insight into why individuals may want to risk their health by intentionally subjecting themselves to HIV.
